As a teenager I struggled to maintain a healthy weight and it continued to yo-yo into my young adult life. Prescription medications were a regular part of my regimen during the cold, flu and allergy seasons. I was diagnosed with borderline anemia and suffered from gastrointestinal disorders. The medicines cured the symptoms but not the cause.
I wanted to try and gain control over my health so at the age of 29 I read my first book about the causes of illness and the ending of disease. By applying the concepts in this book, my overall health and quality of life improved. As an added bonus, my weight stopped fluctuating. The foods that best supported my health, tuned my body into its healthy set point. This opened the door to a lifetime of learning about what foods and practices work best to keep me, and the members of my family, happy and healthy which improves all our lives.
I am a graduate of Pace University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Public Accounting. It has been a financially rewarding but personally unfulfilling career.
From 1997-2000 I was a Certified Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer. B Fit was the fitness program I owned and operated in Harrison, NY. A move to Stamford, CT and two more beautiful children gave my life a different direction.
I received my training and certification to practice Health Coaching at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, which is the only nutrition school integrating all the different dietary theories – combining the knowledge of traditional philosophies with modern nutritional concepts. I’m certified as a Holistic Health Practitioner by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners.
As a Holistic Health Practitioner it is my objective to help you accomplish your life goals through healthier living. Good health is a vehicle, not the destination.

I always look forward to our sessions, to learn more about the foods that i am eating, and to learn more about different foods I should try to incorporate into my diet. Our sessions always put my diet into perspective, and give me a clearer view of what i need to do and eat in order to improve my overall health. As tough as they are to continue, i do enjoy keeping food journals. I find them helpful in that they make me more aware of what i am eating, and they motivate me to make better food choices when i eat.
